David Gavin was born in Dublin, Ireland and now lives in Chamonix Mont Blanc in the French Alpes. He has always been creative and knew he would eventually work in design.

After being accepted to various design courses in Dublin, where he had planned to study Graphic Design, he came across a jewellery manufacturing company through a family member and hasn't looked back since!

This jewellery company was in fact the leading manufacturer in Dublin at the time and it was here he spent 8 years learning the trade, working and experimenting with designs.

He decided to take a year out from working and went travelling around the world. While abroad, David found a huge amount of inspiration and many ideas for his jewellery.

On his return he was recruited to work in a family run business and while there, also started designing for a contemporary jewellery store in Dublin.

After another year of travelling, David's love for mountain sports brought him to Chamonix Mont Blanc, where he now lives with his wife and 2 children! Their new laid back lifestyle has reinvigorated David's passion for jewellery and design, and this is expressed in every piece.
